Cate Blanchett Epitomizes Movie Star Glam in a Graphic Jumpsuit at Armani Privé’s Couture Show
The Armani woman is a timeless, elegant one, so who better than Cate Blanchett to be the real life incarnation of Giorgio Armani’s dreamed-up heroine?
The Carol actress and certified style professional arrived at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris on Tuesday and immediately drew a crowd of photographers as she prepared to watch the fall 2016 Armani Privé couture show. Blanchett, the face of the house’s Si fragrance, arrived in a black-and-white graphic jumpsuit with floral detailing that, like a couture piece, was designed to fit every inch of her body with ease. She glamorously rocked the suit, along with its wide, flared pant legs, with oversize sunglasses, a minimalist clutch, and the confidence that only an Oscar-winning star possesses.
Inside the venue, the blonde actress removed her sunglasses, crossed her legs, and watched a stream of models strut down the runway as she sat near Roberta Armani, Giorgio’s niece, and Audrey Azoulay (below, center), France’s Minister of Culture and Communication, who also found herself next to French actress Isabelle Huppert (below, right).
